n 1990 the African Safari Club became the proud owners of the 5,600 ton MS Royal Star. This charming yacht-like ship has since offered a year round programme of Indian Ocean cruises to the idyllic and relatively uncommercialised islands of the Indian Ocean
At 5,600 tons MS Royal Star is a traditional cruise ship of great character with teak decks and a rich interior of polished wood and gleaming brass.
Carrying a maximum of just 200 passengers she has a friendly and intimate atmosphere more akin to a private yacht than a quality cruise liner so guests soon get to know their fellow passengers.
In 2006 the African Safari Club began a year round programme of Nile Cruises aboard the MS Star of Luxor. The fleet now also includes the five star MS Da Vinci and the four star MS Fleurette. All of our cruises include 10 excursions and are accompanied by qualified Egyptologists.
