What you pack and how you pack depends largely on what you decide to do about laundry. If you’re splashing out and are going to have everything dry-cleaned - no need to worry - drag out that extra suitcase.
If you’re going to do the laundry yourself, however, here are a few items you might want to think about bringing with you. It sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised how many passengers forget these items.
stain remover pen laundry bag laundry detergent - just enough for a couple of loads dryer sheets
If you have any ideas of your own about packing for laundry - please let us now ...

One of our passengers, Sue, here aboard Prow’s Edge left her own tip about packing for laundry in the advice page about packing for a cruise. She said:
“This may sound like an odd tip,and even an unsavory one for some, but I have found it very useful to save all my old underwear when they reach that stage just before their last use and after their last wash, take them as disposable underwear on my vacation. This saves on laundry and gives me extra space in my luggage for the odd present to bring back home.”

What’s gross about it? She not suggesting lugging dirty underwear on board! Personally I think it’s a great idea and I’m going to do it for my next cruise.

If I’ve just spent a whole bunch of money on a cruise I don’t want to wear old underwear while I’m on it.

My husband for one. I don’t think he’d be too impressed.

LOL! You must be newlyweds. I don’t think my husband would even notice.

You should make your husband save his old underwear as well - then he can’t really say anything, can he!
