CLIPPER CRUISE LINE

Spontaneous discoveries happen every day aboard the ships of INTRAV’s Clipper Cruise Line. Its international voyages cover not only both hemispheres, but also touch upon all seven continents.

The Atlantic-focused, 122-passenger Clipper Adventurer and the Pacific-based, 128-passenger Clipper Odyssey follow the sun and provide expedition cruising at its best. This means you can count on impromptu discoveries by day, and award-winning cuisine and supremely comfortable accommodations by night, all the while being “entertained” by distinguished onboard experts.

The small size and great maneuverability of the two ships enable them to navigate in secluded waters that have remained largely immune to the encroachments of development and tourism. With shallow drafts, the ships are able to cruise into narrow fjords and shallow coves, a luxury not available to passengers on conventional cruise ships.

Clipper Cruise Line captains maintain flexible schedules to allow for spontaneous discoveries and encounters. Their fleets of Zodiacs and landing craft offer a convenient and safe way to explore remote wilderness areas where shoreside facilities do not exist.

Clipper has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to hospitality. The lifestyle aboard the small ships of Clipper is informal and relaxed, with an ambience made possible by the small numbers of guests and outstanding service provided by its personable young crews. The two ships have well-appointed interiors that provide welcome settings without ostentation; and all have pleasant, window-lined dining rooms and inviting lounges, as well as comfortable, all-outside cabins.

CRUISE AREAS

Sail aboard the two expeditionary ships to captivating destinations across the globe, including the cobblestone streets of European towns, exotic cities in Asia and the Orient, the natural beauty of the lands “Down Under,” and the scenic splendor of the High Arctic and Antarctica.
