Cruise Lines - Great American Steamboat Company

American Cruise Lines

Owned and operated by the Memphis-based Great American Steamboat Company (GASC) the American Queen is the largest paddlewheel steamboat ever built.

Steeped in history, nostalgia and tradition, the American Queen is the only authentic overnight paddlewheel steamboat in America, and is filled with modern amenities as well as displaying all the opulence and elegance of the American Victorian era.

Food aboard the American Queen showcases the expertise of famed American chef Regina Charboneau, a seventh generation Natchezian with a passion for Southern hospitality, as well as offering multiple, specialty dining options – all at no additional charge.

Complimentary bonuses on every cruise include free bottled water and soft drinks, wines and beers at dinner and gourmet coffee brewers with Starbucks coffee in all the staterooms.

Entertainment features daily lectures by the Riverlorian, the onboard river historian, calliope concerts, professional showboat-style entertainment and dancing to swing and big band music.

The offered shore excursions provide an in-depth immersion into the history, culture and cuisine of America’s heartland.
